For the folks that like to plan and put dates on their calendar early, here are the dates for 2010-11 Scouting year for the pack. I have also attached the same information in a WORD doc that may be better for printing.

We are also putting this information into the Scout Track calendar.

Scout Track Achievements are pulled the 15th of each month so be sure and put that date on your calendar too!

This is a District event so Scouts from all around Cypress will be there!

(We encourage everyone to attend and bring a friend to show them how much fun Scouting can be, however this is not a pack required event).

To All Leaders, Parents, and Scouts of Pack 1179: All Scouts will cross over the bridge into their new rank. Neckerchiefs and slides will be given to boys for their new rank. Please bring a potluck dish & a labeled serving utensil based on pre-crossover rank: Pre-Tigers and Tigers = Entrees Wolves = Sides Bears = Sides WEBELOS = Desserts Bottled Water will be provided for drinks. Bring your dish to the cafeteria at 4:30 and have your lawn chairs setup and ready for the ceremony to start by 4:45. The ceremony will last about an hour so dinner should start around 6:00pm. Den Leaders – Please bring a blanket or tarp for your den to sit on. Remember your bug Spray and Lawn Chairs! We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Hi all,

If any of you get this message and haven’t left for the campout we are in need of COMPASSES for one of the stations (Map & Compass beltloop activity). The pack’s compasses are MIA and I’ll need at least 6 or 8 for the activity. If you have one or two around PLEASE BRING THEM TO THE CAMPOUT.
