Most of you know that next year is the 100th birthday of the Boy Scouts of America. There are going to be MANY wonderful events that you and your boys will want to participate in. You will get information on many of these at a later time, but we wanted to be sure you knew about this particular one now.

On February 18th, we have the opportunity to attend a council wide gala at Minute Maid Park. Tickets for this event are already on sale. BSA Celebration at Minute Maid Park – Thur., Feb. 18, 2009, 6 pm – 9:30 pm. Tickets are $16 each – ticket price includes box dinner – and this is a family event. If you want to sit together as a den (which BSA suggests), please sign up asap. I suggest you choose one parent in each den to coordinate collecting funds and get the tickets ordered at your earliest convenience. We will talk more about it at our pack meeting next week.

Tracey Weissling is on the team promoting all the events for next year so you can email either of us for more details. (weissling [*Email address: weissling #AT# entouch.net - replace #AT# with @ ]) One of us will get a ticket order form to each den who is interested in attending.
